The Association of Baptist Churches in NSW and ACT is seeking to discern God’s leading for the appointment of a Ministry Standards and Insurance Administrator.
The Ministry Standards and Insurance Administrator is a full time role and is responsible for providing administrative support for both the Ministry Standards Manager and the Insurance Manager, including being the primary coordinator for the ‘Creating Safe Spaces’ workshop training program.
This position will be a resource to local churches in the delivery of safe ministry and professional standards for church leaders. The “Creating Safe Spaces” training workshops contribute to ensuring that ministry is accountable and transparent, that leaders run well-prepared and organised programs, that potential Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) risks have been considered and addressed, and that training is provided to ensure leaders know how to respond appropriately where an allegation of misconduct is made. In providing administrative assistance to the Insurance Manager, this position will partner with local Baptist Churches and insurance constituents to assist them with the protection of property and people and other assets entrusted to them. The role also includes some general office administration.
