The Association of Baptist Churches in NSW and ACT is seeking to discern God’s leading for the appointment of a Special Religious Education (SRE) and Burst Christian Resources Administrator.
The role is responsible for providing administrative co-ordination and support for the SRE-related ministries of the Association, including Burst Christian Resources which produces the Godspace SRE curriculum.
The successful applicant will provide day-to-day management of Burst Christian Resources under the supervision of the SRE Consultant and Manager, including overseeing production of Godspace materials, in print and digital formats. They will manage the relationship with the distribution centre and ensure the Godspace and SRE websites are updated and maintained. They will also administer the authorisation of SRE teachers, the SRE database and updates to SRE teachers and coordinators.
The successful applicant will possess an understanding and passion for SRE and have experience in business administration (or similar) and customer support. They will have a deep commitment to the vision and values of the Association. The role requires strong team work ability, the capacity to relate positively across diverse contexts, self-motivation and the capacity to work effectively without close supervision.
The role is 0.4 of a full time equivalent position, with the possibility of extra hours by arrangement at peak times during the year.
